Not only is Ben a huge fan of Jon and his former team the Eagles, Ben is also an Ambassador for the Philadelphia Eagles Autism Challenge, which raises money to support autism research. District Attorney Matt Weintraub recently caught up with Autism Ambassador Ben Hartranft who we last spoke to in April. Ben, who we all know loves his Philadelphia Eagles, is now part of the team! This season he was hired onto the gameday staff for the Eagles where he greets visitors entering the facilty. Ben also started his own company, Benergy1 Presentations, where he offers his services as a public speaker to raise awareness on autism, and he and his brother created a podcast, Razed Typical, which airs the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month. Ben was in the area after giving a presentation to Project SEARCH, a program with the Bucks County Intermediate Unit that provides vocational training through a 9-month internship program for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In this video, David Fox, a skills trainer for Project SEARCH, gives more information about this important program. "This is a wonderful program that not only benefits the agency where the interns are placed, but benefits the intern and the whole community," District Attorney Weintraub said.
